Spring Equinox

Full Day Retreat

Sunday 22nd March 2026

Flow Tunbridge Wells

For a new beginning

“In out-of-the-way places of the heart,

Where your thoughts never think to wander,

This beginning has been quietly forming,

Waiting until you were ready to emerge.”

John O’Donohue

Dear you,

Welcome to Spring and the richness and opportunity it brings.

On this Spring Day, we will join to celebrate the Spring Equinox and the emergence of light and hope for brighter days.

In his powerful poem, John O’Donohue asks us to ‘Awaken your spirit to adventure,’ and this day invites just that.  A day to expand into pleasure, delight and joy of the new and promise of optimism and grace.

Not only will we be inspired by John’s poem, but in poetic symmetry to our recent Wintering Retreat Day, we will look to Katherine May’s book ‘Enchantment’ to help guide us through the wisdom of nature's elements -  Earth, Water, Fire, Air.

Our day will be spent expanding into effortless movement, free conscious breathing, grounded meditation and a little spark of imagination and mystery. If the weather allows, we will spend time moving between the Flow garden and studio, soaking up the natural light and seasonal rhythms.

I invite you to join me for this luxurious day retreat dedicated to you and your desire for growth, change and expansion.

A seasonal brunch will be provided in the bright and sunny Flow kitchen and lovingly prepared with your nourishment and gut health in mind.

Tools gleaned from ancient yogic wisdom to modern psychotherapy practices will be shared and taught across the day, with a special focus on Internal Family Systems and the transformative power IFS offers.

Poetry, sound, science, and awareness will be our guides, along with a healthy dose of fun and laughter along the way.

I so hope you’ll join us.

With love

Lucy xxx

WHAT IS IFS?

IFS, Internal Family Systems, is a transformative tool that conceives of every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts led by a core Self. We believe the mind is naturally multiple, and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal.

IFS is frequently used as an evidence-based psychotherapy, helping people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts. IFS creates inner and outer connectedness by helping people first access their Self and, from that core, come to understand and heal their parts.

But IFS is much more than a non-pathologizing evidence-based psychotherapy to be used in a clinical setting. It is also a way of understanding personal and intimate relationships and stepping into life with the 8 Cs: confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness.

The mission of IFS Institute is to bring more Self-leadership to the world.

Good to know:

Lucy is a Level 2 trained therapist and certification candidate. The explorative IFS group work included in this retreat will focus on finding and building our innate Self-energy.

Lucy is available for individual IFS therapy & counselling by appointment.

Take Away:

When we gather together in a reflective community, we begin to notice things that might otherwise have remained mysterious or invisible. We awaken our innermost curiosity and enliven our senses to allow more calibration between our internal and external existence.

When we deepen into our inner landscape, we find ourselves exploring a deep well of stillness and as we dive into the stillness, we are exposed to the ever-expanding vastness of stillness that connects us to all things in a way that may not have been experienced ever before.

Try it, it just may be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself.

Good to know:

You need no experience in any practices to attend this day retreat. Only a willingness to be surprised and an acceptance that being can be far more productive and powerful than simply doing.
