Private one-to-one yoga
There are many benefits to signing up for private sessions; you may wish to gain confidence on your yoga mat before joining a group class or come with a particular goal or focus in mind. You might also have suffered a recent injury or illness that requires tailored rehabilitation and care.
Whatever your intention, a private yoga class is a great way to have a bespoke practice designed just for you.
Progress will be carefully monitored by your teacher and you can work together to find confidence, ease, strength and stability on your mat.
These sessions are held with founder Lucy Parker and are available in person at Flow Tunbridge Wells, or can be arranged online via Zoom if that is more convenient for you.
Lucy has been practising yoga since 1990 and teaching since 2010. She is an experienced teacher of yoga asana, pranayama and meditation. She also teaches anatomy to yoga teachers, with her husband and osteopath Ben, as well as being the lead teacher for our own Understanding Yoga Teacher Training courses.
Having qualified as a BACP registered counsellor, psychotherapist and coach in 2023 Lucy is equipped to support your body, mind & spirit!
You will experience a non-judgemental, supportive and bespoke place of learning, exploring and developing at your pace to your requirements.
“I was recommended to try yoga to help with recovery from a slipped disc. I signed up for 1:1 classes with Lucy, having never done yoga before. She has been very welcoming and patient; tailoring my sessions around my recovery progress and weak areas. And the yoga, with Lucy's knowledgeable instruction and guidance, has definitely helped my recovery. Highly recommend.”
