Align & Refine - The Shoulders

These workshops are designed to help you align body, mind and soul. Bibi will guide you through various specifically targeted exercises to refine your posture, correct the functionality of your muscles, understand the possible root causes of chronic pain and enhance your overall well-being.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded souls and take your wellbeing and fitness journey to the next level with this fun and enlightening workout for body and brain alike. These exercises stabilise, strengthen, and tone the muscles from the inside out, reawakening lost neuromuscular connections. When working to their designed function, the muscles support the body's structure in alignment, allowing joints and organs to work freely, without wasting unnecessary energy in compensatory actions.

November Focus - THE SHOULDERS

Modern daily life has restricted the shoulder’s range of motion to a small space in front of us, ranging roughly from mid-thigh to the armpit. We do little else outside of this space, confining the shoulder’s functions by around 50%, so that when the shoulders are asked to do something outside of this box, which involves a wider range of motion (painting the walls, pruning a tree, for example), we suddenly experience aches and pains.

We will target the shoulder’s full range of motion by looking at the way the rest of the body moves and exploring how even a seemingly simple exercise can tell us a lot about why we are experiencing discomfort in this area.

When: 15 November, 14:00 - 16:00 pm

Cost: £35
